I didn’t see it coming

Sometimes life takes an unexpected turn. Things that you couldn’t possibly foresee in a million years might happen to you all of the sudden. I realize that it might sound as if something overly dramatic has occurred in my life now. A buildup like was going on to say that I’ve won a truckload of cash in the lotteries. Or that I’ve recently went ahead made and changed my sexual orientation, that I am suffering a fatal disease or that I against all odds recently recovered from one. But none of those things has happened to me. No I gone though a much more subtle, some might say mundane change in my life. It’s nothing dramatic, I’m into antiques, mostly old furniture, now and that’s it. But to that actually major change, in fact more so than the getting on or off the pogo stick would be as strange as that might sound. Thing is I used to hated old stuff. My regular MO was to refurnish my whole apartment every two years as I felt the stuff was getting to old and was all but ready for the scrapheap. But these days that has all changed. The new me positively adore old stuff. Vintage paintings, clothes and furniture I like it all. These days can spend entire days checking out auctions of antiques. I can never get enough of the stuff it seems although my bank account, more precisely the none-too-grand content of said bank account, for obvious reason imposes some limitations to proceedings.
